VINOLOK™ specializes in crafting exquisite glass closures for beverage packaging, made from authentic Bohemian glass. In 2018, the brand showcased its innovation at a trade show in Bordeaux, transforming its space into an inviting bar. For this setting, I was tasked with creating a standout headline for the bar: Life is Beautiful.
Designing lettering for neon signs is a particular passion of mine. The craft of bending glass tubes into luminous shapes is an art form in itself, requiring exceptional skill and precision. Expert artisans heat and shape the glass with remarkable speed and accuracy, creating seamless, fluid curves.
To honor this artistry, I approached the lettering design with a set of self-imposed rules: construct the design from a single continuous line, avoid any sharp angles or breaks, and ensure the shapes flow effortlessly to reflect the smooth elegance of neon bending. The result was a glowing, cohesive script that perfectly captured the vibrant energy of the bar.
