Rap Everyday
RapRap is a Czech lifestyle brand not only for rap lovers. The brief was to tag over a collection of T-shirts, sweatshirts and merch with original graffiti. For sketching, I used alcohol-filled markers, acrylic sprays, wax pens, thick markers, chalks and techniques like dripping and squeezing its tips, then I digitized the letterforms.
The Everyday typeface was also originally created as a lettering for Rap Rap. In addition to analogue techniques, I also took an iPad with the ProCreate app and spray brushes from LetterManiac, which look unbelievably natural – just like spray strokes. The result was a series of about twenty letterings that Rap Rap printed with silkscreen on several collections, incl. neon & reflective silkscreen prints on unisex clothing, shirts, tees, hoodies, hats, totebags, skateboards and much more.
